Happy Summer

It's summer, and school is out! Hooray! Time to relax and rejuvenate. 

I've had a wonderful school year, but I must admit that I am ready for a break. Time for me to stay up as late as I want, watch as much TV as I want, and basically do what I want. I have some ideas swirling around in my head!

I'm always looking for some ideas for summer adventures. Feel free to post your summer plans. I might take your idea and just do the same.

It's been a long time since I've blogged!! I won't go into details with you all, but I needed to adjust to the loss of my mother.

Well, I'm back, and I'm excited!

I’m excited for two reasons. First, school is out! Second, my friend Vanessa from SavvySchool Counselor, has the release of her book The No More Bullying Book for Kids coming out on June 26^th!  The digital version of this book is available now on Amazon, and pre-orders are being taken for the hard copy.

Y’all, I have seen the book, and I strongly feel it will make an awesome addition to one’s classroom! Filled with situations, helpful tips and advice, The No More Bullying Book for Kids provides practical and logical ways to deal with the important topic of bullying.

To celebrate the release of The No More Bullying Book for Kids, I am offering one hard copy to a lucky reader! Go to my Facebook page, like the post AND in the comment section, name a book that you have used to talk about bullying with your students.

Happy New Year 2017!

Happy New Year! It's hard to believe that 2016 is gone, and 2017 is here! Time flew by! 

Last year was filled with many experiences--some good, some not so good. As we start 2017, I look forward to a year of good health, peace, love, and happiness. 

At the stroke of midnight, I didn't suddenly make all these resolutions for myself professionally or personally. Instead, I want fun to be more of a focus in my life, and I want to be able to relax more. What about you? Did you make any resolutions? Do you have any goals for the new year? What are you looking forward to this year?

Yes, that's right!! I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas 2 Days After! Christmas proved to be a very busy and fulfilling day with me traveling between two towns. Juggling two families is no easy chore, yet I managed to do it. Hence, I am sending my well wishes two days late.

I hope that your Christmas was full of good cheer and your future days are filled with peace, love, happiness, and good health. Make sure to relax and enjoy your loved ones during this busy holiday.
